ITS Vienna Region

Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen (BASt)

Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen (BASt) is a technical research institute in the domain of the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). Regarding to coopertive systems BASt is involved in the standardisation, coordination and cooperation of stakeholders in preparation for the market as well as in numerous field tests and demonstration projects.

FTW Forschungszentrum Telekommunikation Wien

FTW is a national leading and international well established center for research and development of technologies for communication systems of the future. FTW is funded by BMVIT, BMWFJ and Vienna as a competence center within the framework of COMET - Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies. ITS is in addition to telecommunication and energy the major issue of FTW.
